You must also be aware that many fat burners formulated with ephedrine
alkaloids derive the ephedrine content from natural
sources -- ma huang and sida cordifolia are but two of many.
This allows manufacturers to use the powerful phrase "all
natural" in their advertising. Consumers are
under the false-impression that anything derived
from natural sources is completely harmless. That's
incorrect of course, and no doubt a contributing factor to the many of the few ephedrine-
related safety issues being currently raised.
Nonetheless, I believe the hydroxycut fat burning supplement and other
products based around the ECA stack (ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin)
are effective -- both as a weight loss agent and as
an appetite suppressor. Of course, the key is
to use these products properly, read the label directions, and
don't exceed the recommended dosage.
In and of itself, the hydroxycut fat burning supplement
is probably as good as any fat burner supplement
on the market. Most are based around the same basic
formulation (the ECA stack) that has been proven effective.
